Hatfield Dental Studio ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Hatfield Dental Studio is a dental practice operated by Dr N Erasmus and L Roos Incorporated (Registration Number 2023/724330/21), the responsible party for the personal information we process.

When you complete our contact/enquiry form we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, the service you're interested in, and the contents of your message.
If you are a patient, the personal and health information we collect and process as part of your dental care (including medical history, treatment records and medical-aid details) is described in full in our Patient Privacy Notice.
We use cookies and similar technologies to collect information about how you use the site — such as your device and browser type, the pages you view, approximate location, and how you interact with the site. This is done through Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which are active unless you choose to decline them (see section 6).
We process your personal information on the basis of your consent (for example, when you submit the contact form or accept non-essential cookies), to take steps at your request, to pursue our legitimate interests in running and improving the practice, and to comply with the law. You may withdraw your consent at any time (see section 8).
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us operate, namely our website host, our email delivery provider, and the analytics and advertising providers listed below. These providers process information on our behalf and are required to protect it. We may also disclose information where required by law.

We keep your personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law and professional record-keeping obligations, after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, unauthorised access and misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information appropriately.
Where we treat children, any personal information is provided and consented to by a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect information from children through this website without such consent.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page with its "Last updated" date.
